GENERAL INFORMATION

SAS Testing Centre Hours (excluding exam period):

Monday-Thursday 8:30PM-7:00PM and Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM. 

During exams, there are no restrictions on testing centre hours.

Booking Restrictions:

You will need to contact us ASAP if:

• your booking(s) falls outside the SAS Testing Centre hours of operation
• the booking date you are requesting is in the next 7 days
• you have identified a disability-related conflict while booking in the portal
• the booking deadline has passed (see below)

BOOKING A TEST/EXAM

1. Schedule a test by clicking "Schedule a test, midterm, or quiz" above.
2. Review your bookings at any time by clicking "My Schedule” on the main menu.
3. Monitor your email for testing updates and reminders.

Important

Disability‑related conflicts affecting an assessment must be communicated to SAS as early as possible to allow time for alternate arrangements.

Booking Deadlines

Late requests are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and placed on a waiting list. SAS will make every reasonable effort to accommodate students.

ONLINE TESTING

Online testing does not take place in our testing centre UNLESS:

• you have specific accommodation to write in person or using a paper version
• the testing takes place in class and you wish to use your accommodations

During Testing

If you have any concerns during online tests or midterms,   DO NOT proceed with the test.  Email your faculty immediately and copy sastesting@nipissingu.ca. 

DEFERRALS

For information on deferring a test or exam, please refer to the SAS Accommodated Testing Services Policy.

TESTING INTEGRITY

Students registered with SAS are expected to respect testing integrity in compliance with the academic standards set by the Nipissing University Academic Integrity Policy and SAS Service Agreement.
