Welcome to the SAS Testing Portal
Spring / Summer Term
- The testing centre operates 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- For in‑person testing outside these hours, email sastesting@nipissingu.ca or call extension 4633.
- There are no booking deadlines during Spring/Summer terms.
- Tests scheduled within 7 days of the assessment date require direct contact with SAS.
Requesting Testing Accommodations
- Select Schedule a test, midterm, or quiz from the main menu.
- Confirm your request by selecting My Upcoming Events.
To view all bookings, select My Schedule from the main menu.
Late Booking Requests
You must contact SAS directly if:
- You are booking within 7 days of the assessment date, or
- The booking deadline has passed.
Late requests are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and placed on a waiting list. SAS will make every reasonable effort to accommodate students.
Booking Issues
· Course Accommodations: Courses will not appear in the booking system unless your Letter of Accommodation (LOA) is approved. Select “Accommodations – Review and Confirm” from the main menu to verify.
· SAS Testing Agreement: If your agreement was submitted before Fall 2025, you must complete the updated version via “SAS Forms.”
· Browser Issues: Clearing your browser cache or switching browsers often resolves issues. Please avoid using Safari.
If problems persist, email sastesting@nipissingu.ca with screenshots, if possible.
Important
Disability‑related conflicts affecting an assessment must be communicated to SAS as early as possible to allow time for alternate arrangements.
During Testing
If you have concerns about your accommodations before or during an assessment, do not begin the test.
Contact SAS immediately.
Deferrals
Refer to the Deferral Request Page, or contact SAS directly for assistance.
Testing Integrity
Students registered with SAS must comply with the Nipissing University Academic Integrity Policy and the SAS Testing Agreement.
“I understand that I may be subject to academic penalties if I breach confidentiality related to a rescheduled or deferred exam. This includes sharing or receiving exam content or related information through personal, electronic, or social media communication.”
